Marshall Faulk

Marshall is slated to sign autographs for eager fans during the event, as the celebrity athlete's philanthropic efforts are only matched by his extensive athletic achievements. As a superstar running back for the San Diego State Aztecs, Faulk broke multiple NCAA records and is still considered a hero to the entire San Diego community. During his legendary NFL career for the Indianapolis Colts and St. Louis Rams, he racked up prestigious titles including Super Bowl Champion, and AP NFL MVP. Both foundations recognize the impact that sports have on peoples' overall quality of life, and are dedicated to helping individuals with challenges overcome the barriers that keep them from achieving their dreams.

Challenged Athletes Foundation (CAF)

CAF provides opportunities and support to people with physical disabilities so they can pursue active lifestyles and find success in life. The Marshall Faulk Foundation provides better futures for today's underprivileged youth and supports numerous programs that teach today's youth the importance of building character, ambition and ultimately a stronger self through education and sports.

Challenged Athletes Foundation

The Challenged Athletes Foundation (CAF) is a world leader in helping individuals with physical challenges get involved – and stay involved – in sports. CAF believes that participation in sports at any level increases self-esteem, encourages independence and enhances quality of life. Since 1994, more than $25 million has been raised and almost 4,800 funding requests from challenged athletes in all 50 states and dozens of countries have been satisfied.

Additionally, CAF's outreach efforts reach another 60,000 individuals each year. Whether it's a $2,500 grant for a handcycle, helping underwrite a carbon fiber running foot not covered by insurance, or arranging enthusiastic encouragement from a mentor who has triumphed over a similar challenge, CAF's mission is clear: give those with the desire to live active, athletic lifestyles every opportunity to compete in the sports they love. Marshall Faulk Foundation

The Marshall Faulk Foundation is dedicated to improving the quality of life for San Diego youth by increasing opportunities for them to lead healthy, fulfilling lives. By building corporate partnerships within the community, we are able to provide financial assistance to projects focusing primarily on sports development and education. Through our efforts we are able to touch the lives of children in Southern California in a positive way, encouraging them to become the leaders of tomorrow.
